Har Ki Pauri – Heart of Haridwar
Har Ki Pauri is the most sacred ghat on the banks of the Ganga River in Haridwar. It is believed that Lord Vishnu left his footprint here — which is why it’s called Har (Hari/Vishnu) Ki Pauri (footsteps).
